As per the Government announcement on June 29, 2021 regarding continued restrictions on indoor hospitality, the CRSS Guidelines have been updated with details regarding the double rate of CRSS payment for eligible businesses, for weeks commencing 5 July 2021 and 12 July 2021. This enhanced rate of CRSS applies for all eligible businesses who are either prohibited or significantly restricted from operating during those weeks.
Details provide the steps to be taken by a business who has already claimed the triple restart week payment in anticipation of reopening on 5 July, but finds that it is unable to reopen on that date under public health restrictions.
The scheme is intended to be in addition to the supports provided to employers under the Employer Wage Support Scheme (EWSS).
