Fáilte Ireland domestic sales campaign webinar
Discover more information about Fáilte Ireland’s domestic sales campaign for the tourism industry and how we are encouraging tourism businesses to get involved and leverage our campaigns for your own sales conversion plan.
The purpose of this event is to provide details of the initial €2.5m plan and to share insights on shaping your proposition to maximise conversions and advise you on how best to get involved with each partner.
Our sales conversion campaigns will see Fáilte Ireland collaborating with a number of partners to deliver 7.5m engagements with consumers for industry to convert them into customers. Our campaigns will seek to convert demand across 3 specific categories:
1. Converting Northern Ireland consumers to book a break in the republic
2. Converting overseas holiday lookers to domestic holiday bookers
3. Encourage domestic consumers to book domestic breaks

In this live broadcast, Jill de Azevedo, Head of Consumer Planning and Insights at Fáilte Ireland will share insights and the latest trends on consumer sentiment and behaviour as your business prepares to move into September and beyond.

Session 2: Leverage consumer insights to drive demand and spend
In the follow up live broadcast, industry experts Aisling McVeigh and Oonagh Cremins will discuss how to effectively communicate with potential customers and how to best optimise revenue during a customer’s visit.
This session builds on Session 1 ‘Consumer insights and trends for tourism businesses’ by reviewing and interpreting the valuable consumer insights on behaviours and intent, helping businesses to leverage this information by rethinking and repositioning their offer to appeal to the consumers driving demand and spend.
