Webinar: Supporting businesses to transition from the TWSS to the EWSS

The introduction of the new Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme (EWSS) was announced in the Government’s July Stimulus Package. This Scheme will replace the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme (TWSS) from the 1st of September this year.

As these schemes are vital to the sustainability of tourism businesses across the country, Fáilte Ireland has created a webinar with experts from Revenue to help businesses to navigate and leverage these initiatives. The experts from Revenue cover the key elements and considerations businesses will need to make in transitioning from the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme (TWSS) to the new Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme (EWSS), including:

  • Recent announcements e.g. changes in maternity and apprenticeships eligibility for TWSS
  • Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme under July Stimulus announcement
  • Rehiring of eligible employees
  • Adding seasonal workers to EWSS
  • Compliance checks
  • End of Year review/Week 1 for TWSS employees
  • Reconciliation of TWSS
  • How employers can stop operating TWSS on 31 August 2020

In order to get the very most from this broadcast, we strongly recommend that you review the scheme details.
